II. Teaching aids:
Teacher: Lesson plan, text book, workbook, teacher’s guide and pictures.
Students: Text book, workbook, notebook and pen.

1. Warm - up:
- Greet Ss in vietnamese.
- Introduce name and new subject.
2. Presentation:
- Ask Ss to look at the picture in SA1 and present people in it.
-Present new words: 
Hello	Alan
Hi	LiLi
- Present model sentence:
Hello. I’m Nam.
Hi. I’m Mai.
I’m = I am.
- Call some Ss to read sentences in SA1.
3. Practice:
- Have Ss work in pairs, practise SA1: look and say.
- Check some pairs.
4. Production:
- Have Ss work in groups greet and introduce themselves.
- Check some groups at class.
- Ask Ss to do Ex 1, 2 in workbook.
5. Consolidation:
- Consolidate the lesson.
- Give remarks.
- Greet in Vietnamese.
- Listen.
- Look at the picture and listen.
- Look, listen, repeat then take note.
- Listen, repeat then copy.
- Read aloud.
- Work in pairs.
